- Mr. James has performed more than 5,000 treatments since becoming a graduate of the Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland with the class of September ’03. He has a B.S. Degree (Atmospheric Science) from the State University of New York, Albany as well as a Master’s Degree in acupuncture from Tai Sophia. He worked for the Department of Justice for eight years and then went into the private sector in the computer and telecommunication fields. He was in leadership roles with Olympus Corporation and then as the Director of Operations with a prestigious Chinese firm performing medical instrument repair for more than a decade. He’s taught CEU courses to health professionals throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Mr. James' personal interest in acupuncture developed when a course of treatment reduced his blood pressure by about 20 points.
